LOX STORAGE Tank

    Cryogenic Tanks consist of two jackets. The inner tank is made of sheets that contain nickel and verified by charpy impact test at design temperature and is the tank where LOX is stored. The outer tank is for isolation. Heat transfer is minimized by means of various insulating materials and vacuum between the two tanks. The rapid expansion of Cryogenic Liquids with the heat they receive from the environment necessitates highest security measures.
